How many times have you played True Crime glass of wine in bed by nine shirt? I just finished my first not even a month ago, and it was so easy to ride the roller coaster of emotions that I just dismissed or brushed off most of this stuff, just the authors showing off their pop culture chops. I did not think anything was other than what it seemed until Chloe draws the treasure map. That was so out of tune with everything else that I had to take a moment and sit back and wonder what I had missed

I’ll certainly never look at the game the same True Crime glass of wine in bed by nine shirt, thanks for taking the time to go through all this and put it all together, I really enjoyed it, even if it’s just another in a series of gut punches from this game. I’ve only played it straight through a couple of times, but I’ve watched individual scenes a few bazillion times. They’ve hidden it very well- a lot of times the physical location, script, and journal entry all tie together to point at something that you would never notice if you weren’t actively looking for it. I could feel there was something off about the story, but it took me a really long time to figure out exactly what they were doing. The amount of ideas they’ve managed to pack into each scene is pretty incredible, and I doubt I’ve found even half of them.

Did you watch Donnie Darko? I just rewatched True Crime glass of wine in bed by nine shirt, I hadn’t seen it in probably 10 years, so really all I remembered was it was some trippy yet sad movie. After watching it again and having played LiS I am seriously weirded out. There are also some really interesting thematic similarities to Looper, Terminator 2, and Butterfly Effect, and if you really want to go down the rabbit hole, Dirty Dancing- all 4 of which are referenced in LiS or BtS. I guess, ideally I would be challenging some of the arguments you make or dive deeper into the points you raise, but tbh, judging by all the references (a fair share of which I know nothing about) I don’t see myself in the position to challenge. And undoubtedly, in order to make the connections, you must’ve spent hundreds of hours, reading, watching and thinking about everything… time that I don’t see myself spending. So I’m happy to just remain passive, but entertained reader.
