Because I don’t think it’s very helpful for the left to be deluded about what is likely to be true even if the falsehoods are about our enemies. We need to be clear-eyed about what we’re up against if we want to defeat them. Brooks is owned by Comcast like Sam Seder. Dore has never done anything close to conspiracy theories he only points out when the media doesn’t do their job. Dore is more of a socialist because when asked about Marx he says he doesn’t know enough to make a distinction I wish it weren’t so, though. And it certainly is a sad kind of funny that professed logical inconsistencies like this aren’t just commonplace, but morally obligatory among progressives.

I went through various ideas, categories, sub number, but I landed on alphabetical cuz these folks talk about all kinds of different stuff. For your men and women example, I don’t think it’s fair. After all, there’s a lot of talk about how Trump supporters reflect the disenfranchised white vote, and I’m sure many of them have met at least one violent white person and know of at least one non-violent black individual with the surname Obama. The problem, for the progressive, seems to be how these questions interact. Basically, the reason why black communities are especially dysfunctional is pervasive prejudice and marginalization.
