Ronaldo sent his cousin to go buy a rock, a pack of paper, and some scissors. Rock paper scissors throat punch I win Unicorn shirt. He practiced for 7 months and won the Champions League Final. The problem is you will know ahead of time so you will think about it. And you have played it before, so you are already influenced and it’s not 50/50. I remember watching a documentary about a British magician doing RPS with random people on the street and getting an insane winrate. The gist of it was that you implanted either R, P or S into their mind by over-and-over making the corresponding hand gesture while chatting them up.
What does rock mean?
Then when you quickly initiate an RPS game with them. Most of them will pick the gesture that beats the one you displayed, so you counter that one. Basically, you “casually” show a lot of scissor hands to them, then play the game. They will likely pick Rock, you pick paper. It was also the guy who played chess vs 9 masters of the game and won. I assume his show must be quite popular in the UK; at least it seemed like it was. For all the ridiculously bad decisions we see week in and week out, a 3 week can for this is just a slap in the face to fans, refs, and players. Sure, he should have had a coin. But considering the game, league, and championship deciding fuck ups we see regularly, punishment for this is fucking absurd. Who should be suspended, the guy who shows up to work without a tie, or the guy who ruined the $200 million dollar project while wearing his?

I actually agree with you, but people are overlooking the root cause of the fuss here. There’s been a long fight to get people to take the women’s game seriously. And the feeling is that this wouldn’t have happened so easily at a men’s premier league game. So I’m not saying it’s right but the reason it’s such a big deal is that of a long recent history of people taking the piss out of the top level of women’s football. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I don’t get that argument. I think the key thing to remember here is that the match was televised, so there is a strict timetable that needs to be kept to. I’d assume that if the same happened in a men’s premier league game, the last thing the ref would do is run into the tunnel, only to appear 2 mins later with the coin, when the match should have already kicked off. Maybe I’m naive/ignorant to the women’s football struggles, but I can’t see how this incident adds to the consensus that the women’s game isn’t taken seriously

U mean prepared like missing his yellow card? Rock paper scissors throat punch I win Unicorn shirt. Mistakes happen everywhere they would have probably hide their whistle behind their back and let 1 player guess. And most of the time someone would have a coin like the 4th referee or so. As far as I’m aware each local referee association provides crested coins for the toss. My dad has a few now and I’m sure he’s always had them provided, not bought. It was always his responsibility to bring it though.
