I was a scrawny girl who got beat up and tormented. I always looked up to strong women, and Buffy was the only one in my life for a long time. Later on, I further admired the actor (Sarah Michelle G.) for being also awesome- she’s bilingual (can read and write in Japanese), and really did a lot to keep the press out of her hair when she and Freddy had a kid (which, for some reason, I find a feat in itself). Generally seems like a nice woman who is confident and knows how to control shit in her life. Plus, she played Daphne in Scooby Doo, and I love Scooby.

My grandmother. Pink be strong when you are weak be brave be badass everyday shirt. She is the definition of a strong woman. She raised 3 kids and she always wanted to provide for them because my grandfather was the type that only gave enough. She opened up several businesses on her own with the money she saved then she started buying land. Then my grandfather had an affair and it broke her heart, but it did not stop her from providing for her children. She never stopped and now that I am 19, she still goes out and does business even if sometimes she grows weak. I really hope I could become as strong as she is. My answer would have to be my grandma, too. My mom’s mom, not my dad’s mom. She and my grandpa came to America with almost nothing and ended up creating a business that still gives us more than we need today.

I really look up to my brother. Pink be strong when you are weak be brave be badass everyday shirt. He’s awesome and he’s truly doing what he’s always wanted. He’s in college for music composition and production and I think it’s great that he’s really following his dreams. Sometimes I wish I could have been more like him. When starting to think of career paths, I wanted to be an artist, a model, an actress or a pianist, but I pretty much stopped doing all of that when I started my computer science engineering major. I chose to go for security rather than following my dreams, so I really admire my brother for living the dream and doing what I was too afraid to do. One of my mother’s friends from work, she was the nicest lady you’d ever meet. She hit some hard times, but she was always happy and always hopeful. She passed away a few years ago.
