Best Rod Stewart album of all times. Not my pasture, not my cows not my bullshit shirt. I loved and still love this album. But generally, I think this album is unfortunately totally underrated in the public and music press. Yes, I do love as well most of his music from the 70s until today. The only exception the American Songbook series. This is not mine and I get bored after 1 or 2 songs. My late husband and I danced in the kitchen to this song. When I hear it on the radio. I imagine it is his way to tell me all is well. So the editorial decline for Rolling Stone started much earlier than imagined , I feel the last GREAT album by Rod was the 1981 release, Foolish Behaviour, which sadly no one has heard, Went to his concert 2 days ago here in Montreal Canada…he sang this beautiful song and dedicated it to the past soldiers and to the ones now who put their lives on the line every day. Rod is #1 always!
This man is amazing! I just hope that somehow i get to see him in concert again! Not my pasture not my cows not my bullshit shirt. Most wonderful, exciting, joyous time of my life. It was during the Oh LaLa tour! My favorite song is Handbags and Gladrags! It’s an oldie. If you have not heard about it, google it. Love you, Sir Rod! I love that song it is one of my favorites I went to a concert when he was here in Charleston S.C. during his tour from the album he put on some show I can’t believe that it has been that long . Wow hope he does another tour. Love Rod. When I’m ready to leave this world my daughter knows this is the song I go out to, ‘with the words I love you rolling off my tongue’. Can you show this to Richard as that tour was the first time I saw Rod Stewart live with him! I must have only been about 15!
Not my pasture, not my cows not my bullshit shirt, hoodie, long sleeve tee, guys v-neck, sweatshirt.
Roderick David Stewart, the music on the world is better because there is your voice, your songs, your style. Not my pasture, not my cows not my bullshit shirt. I’m and always I”ll be a great Rod Stewart’s fan. Thank you for all. Your songs are a soundtrack of my life. The Motown Song, Broken Arrow, Rhythm Of My Heart and the cover of Van Morrison’s “Have I Told You Lately.” Such a brilliant and classy piece of Pop.Makes me have tears and my heart hurt. This was a terrible time in so many lives. This is a beautiful song that addresses the time so well. This album changed my life when I heard it the first time in the early 90s. And I saw the concert in Stockholm during the Vagabond world tour, and that night also changed my life. Thanks, Rod for all the music you have given me during the years.
I can not believe it has been 27 years since I saw him on this tour. Not my pasture not my cows not my bullshit shirt. And many before and since this tour. And again in 14 days! ….who. I love you, Rod Baby!!!!Great record. Although I think your version of “You Are Everything” was underrated. That should’ve been released as a hit single too. But the other songs are fantastic too! My sister Linda Marie and I saw you last summer and when you said you were dedicating this song to our veterans especially to the ones we owe the most to the WWII vets we were so proud because our dad was one of those men, thank you!2nd-row front center at his concert in Toronto. Limo down and Limo back. Thanks to my bro Rick and his awesome wife Gail. A great memory in my heart that will stay Forever young.
