Funny you mention TVs. Make a woman cum for once shirt. I only buy cheap Korean panel TVs/monitors now. I paid less than $300 for a 55″ 4k TV a little over a year ago. The whole business is a racket, the panels themselves are all essentially made in the same factory and then given different casings/brandings, possibly things like smart TV components, and sold at a huge markup. My ex used to work in the factory that makes many of the panels we use. Only 2 manufactures even make panels, LG and Samsung. They are super strict on the QA of the panels.

Like a panel would fail inspection if there was a scratch on the back of it. Something you as a consumer wouldn’t see. Those panels that work, but failed inspection are sold to the off-brand who take the panel, put a case and packaging and whatever software and they sell it. I’ve been buying off-brand TVs for a long time now. Haven’t had an issue and the picture still looks great to me. Reasons for a more expensive TV: Cheap ones have more input lag, and you want to use it to play call of duty or street fighter, where a 25ms lag matters. the brightest spot and the darkest spot on the screen can only be so far apart in brightness. If you need to see the sun itself and a rat in the shadows at the same time, you need HDR. or you really could just plug in a raspberry pi….I’m missing some things, but those are the big ones.

Those cheap TVs are usually a good deal, so long as it has the resolution. Especially when some form guy is going from 60 Hz to 50 Hz at the base they are PCS’ing to, doesn’t realize till 2 days before at TMO pack out, and needs to sell ASAP. I think there are some rules specific to food prep and private org fundraising they have to deal with. AAFES technically controls any for-profit business on a US Installation for the most part. If someone is cutting into their profits on a base they can get the command to make them a vendor. When you become a vendor you sign a contract with AAFES and have to pay 20%+ of your sales directly to them. Some GM/SBMs are bigger dicks than others. Some commanders are weaker or just don’t wanna put up a fight. They tried it on one of my old units but was told to eff off because we were in a heavily restricted area that their people would never be allowed access to.
