Watching Jokic play with a roster full of Magnificent USA Basketball 6 DeAndre NBA Jordan Royal shirt who have all learned that as long as they cut hard and are ready for it Jokic is gonna get them the ball is so beautiful. Also really looking forward to seeing him play with Grant, because having someone who provides that kind of vertical spacing was missing last year, there’s gonna be a lot of nice lobs thrown to him.

Except if you watched any of this Magnificent USA Basketball 6 DeAndre NBA Jordan Royal shirt team’s warm-ups you’ll realize that there’s a vast gap in chemistry with him between them and the Nuggets roster. Seriously, all their fumbled passes or miscommunications offcuts were super jarring in the games I caught. I agree with your Serbia USA commentary. While I don’t think the USA really has the ability to handle a Jokic centric offense, I don’t think Jokic has the pieces around him to really run a Jokic centered offense. When your offensive identity is that unique, it takes a lot of practice and chemistry to really take advantage of it. I’m not sure we’ll ever see Serbia take full advantage of what a Jokic led offense can really do. I honestly don’t think they have to take full advantage of a Jokic led offense to beat an iso heavy USA team whose best player is Kemba Walker.

You are playing vs Jazz, and you have someone cutting – you hit him with the pass but Gobert recovers and now cutter doesnt have good shot at the rim. He probably won’t run straight at Gobert, so he will get the ball back to ball handler (if there is enough time) or go to scorer to try and improvise. So even if cutting to the basket play failed, it doesnt count against it (the team would probably try to run quick iso or pick and roll, not another cut) and since it is rather complicated play to pull off you could argue that it should. For example, imagine the Warriors are running a play where Steph runs off of 3 screens to get open at the break for a 25 footer. The opposing defense is going to sell out to prevent him from getting that open look. Instead of still passing the ball to a smothered Steph, Draymond will pass the ball to the wide-open Livingston as he cuts to the rim after setting his screen.
