You can fix that. You can actually fix pretty much every Fallout bug and prevent the game from crashing ever entirely. LOCK THE GATES Shirt. It takes a lot of hard work though but it’s worth it in the end. I’ve been fixing Fallout 3 and New Vegas from release so I sort of know how the engine works and how the games work. They are finicky but I quite like the engine and understand why Bethesda hasn’t changed it. I don’t think there is another engine out there that lets you modify it to such a degree and still manage it to be 100% rock solid.

Bethesda and Hines/Howard are doing the same and while many people who play FO76 think it’s an alright game – there is no core audience this appeals to. What really killed them was the licensing cost of all of their series. To make any money they had to sell millions of units in a niche genre. They have two seasons of Batman and one of the guardians of the galaxy, who knew. No one owes these companies our loyalty (or money) if they make a bad product. It’s a humanistic trait.
