I use to run with a guy (he quit because his hip was giving him way too much trouble – he’s 73) that says “you’re not a real runner unless to enjoy a beer afterward. I just want Drink Beer and Smoke some Meat shirt I go out to happy hour every week with him and he still loves talking running (and beer) with us. Really cool guy, I’m in college and I smoke weed pretty much every day and drink on the weekends. I also run 3 or 4 times a week. I’m only 21 but yeah, it works for me. In fact, I usually get better times on my runs when I run high cuz I just zone out and the next thing I know the run is over. Ran my first half marathon ever a couple weeks back and I was baked out of my mind when it started. It affects everyone differently. Personally, I enjoy my run more if I partake beforehand. It may have something to do with the way I relate to running.

I don’t even like walking when I am high. Feels like it takes forever to get somewhere. I just want Drink Beer and Smoke some Meat shirt. Maybe getting used to running while high would change my stoner habits. I just love to sit and munch in front of the tv, For me, it’s all about what moves I make in the 5 minutes right after I smoke. If I start playing video games or watching TV then I’m not doing much for a while. But if I get up and start moving I always feel pretty active. It also depends on the amount that I smoke. If I get super baked, the run sometimes feels like it is altogether too much. But if I just smoke enough to get a little high, then it is nice. Sometimes I like to go running after some beer. I remember doing this at a party once at about 11:30 at night. Very nice. But I wouldn’t want to run when I’m really drunk. For some reason, I never really get dry mouth from smoking. Like sunny_bunny said, it affects everyone differently and I don’t have problems with red eyes or dry mouth,

I feel like runners are inherently better people than non-runners – might sound bad but it’s coming from a total non-runner, so I’m not bragging or anything. I just want Drink Beer and Smoke some Meat shirt. This has to be one of the best things one can do and experience in life, I genuinely feel that way. Fantastic work, my friend. I feel like this should say, active people, if it should be stated at all… I’d say that the daily calming that comes from a good run helps people to be relaxed and take their mind off little stresses, so it may be true to some extent, but lots of activities do this, and it varies widely from person to person. I definitely do see where you’re coming from though, and I genuinely feel better and seem like I am more easy-going when I’ve had a good run in the past day or so.

I would have thought exactly like you. Drink Beer and Smoke I didn’t thinking it was some terrible thing, but then I smoked for the first time 2 years ago (when I was 19) and I’ve pretty much been smoking every day since. Hasn’t messed up my grades or aerobic capacity or anything like that, only danger maybe is if you have high blood pressure and are out of shape I definitely wouldn’t recommend blazing and going out for an intense cardio workout, I smoke and drink on a daily basis and try to run/walk every day. It’s all in the mind I’d say as for when I was in the army it was not uncommon to drink until ~2-3AM then go out and do PT for an hour at 6, typically involving a ~ 5-mile run or a bunch of pushups/sit-ups etc. My dad has a story about a time he and his friend went for a jog after a heavy night of drinking.
