This album grew on me so much in a short amount. I’m not a mama bear I’m more of a Mama Llama like I’m pretty chill shirt ngl at first listen I was worried cuz I had never had an album by Earl I didn’t like but after listening again (this time while not playing red dead) I started to flow it more. December 24th and Nowhere to go are up there as well. “Fathers face but I’m not afraid” is one of my favorite lyrics of all time idk why great album I’m terrible at talking about it
What is Llama meaning?
Actually focusing on the album instead of just having it play in the background has an incredible impact on the enjoyment of the album. I’m not a mama bear I’m more of a Mama Llama like I’m pretty chill shirt can’t help but feel this is a lot of peoples problems with music, they are drawn towards the music that is instantly catchy because it is memorable even when not paying attention. Songs and albums like that for me are short lived and I get bored of eventually. The slow burners are the ones that stick with you forever. Earl has always been one to grow on me. I thought Doris was decent at first and it quickly became my favorite ever. I didn’t understand IDLSIDGO at all and then it made sense after more listens. This one was alarming and confusing at first but it’s so damn good. Earl is just stupid talented. Firstly, Peanut is a fucking devastating song, the instrumental sounds like a nightmare.
I’m not a mama bear I’m more of a Mama Llama like I’m pretty chill shirt, ladies tee, v-neck, tank top
The album definitely grew on me overall, I’m not a mama bear I’m more of a Mama Llama like I’m pretty chill shirt was not feeling the singles at all at first, and even though they grew on me, they are still my least favorite on the album. I respect him for taking a different approach, from the low-key album title and abnormal cover art, it really just seems like he said fuck it, did what he wanted and poured out everything inside his mental state onto the tracks. Although it can seem a very daunting listen at first, I really suggest sticking through it and really focusing on the lyrics, it is a very rewarding listen when it clicks with you. This album somehow blew away my expectations. I hope he’s doing ok
Official, I’m not a mama bear I’m more of a Mama Llama like I’m pretty chill sweatshirt, hoodie, and long sleeve
That Riot beat is one of my top beats of last year, really wish I’m not a mama bear I’m more of a Mama Llama like I’m pretty chill shirt was twice as long. This album was really vulnerable and a refreshing change of pace from him. Honest, painful, not trying to impress, lofi minimalist sample heavy. I feel like this album was more about Earl asserting himself as a producer. He’s definitely not trying to impress with his bars here, but the writings still great, direct, simple, stripped back.
