I have a hard time seeing the Bears trade up, even if there’s a run on For Oakland For Doran California shirt guys. We don’t know all that much about Pace yet, but he’s said he wants to draft BPA. Considering we’re already short one pick this year, I think it’s more likely we let the board fall as it may and make the most of the picks we do have. If we do trade, I think it would be more likely we trade down. We need help just about everywhere on defense, so getting an extra mid-round pick makes more sense than continuing to sacrifice depth for the more flashy move.

I agree. Edge rusher is a premium but there are arguably four in the top ten odd are one would be there at 7. Given the other players worthy of the top ten picks. And a new For Oakland For Doran California shirt is always a wild card. Then again, the Rams are sticking with Sam. I know they aren’t the same circumstance, but it seems odd to spend a top ten pick on a guy you hope doesn’t get any playing time. If I was the Rams and Mariota was still on the board at 10 I think it would be a great pick, even if you don’t plan on playing him right away. It just doesn’t seem wise to draft a guy in the first round that you hope doesn’t even get to play. The organization is hoping Bradford’s injuries are behind him. We did it, Bortles ended up playing, but that’s because Henne was god awful. Ideally, you want guys like that to develop. If they become a franchise piece after a year then it’s a great draft pick

Hell, I could actually at least see that happening. I can’t see us taking For Oakland For Doran California shirt in the first and then taking a WR in the second. BPA is good and all but we have more pressing needs at OLB, guard, possibly tackle and possibly FS depending on FA. WR is pretty far down my list of needs right now in the draft. I don’t think Dallas would take Landon Collins. Both of our starters are already in-the-box safeties who are less than stellar in coverage. They’re both at least competent, so I don’t think Collins would add much to the defense. In your scenario, I think the pick would have to be Gurley assuming his knee checks out. However, I dislike the Daryl Williams pick. Seantrel Henderson wasn’t great last year, but he showed flashes. We won’t waste an early pick on a tackle. If we do anything it will be bringing in a cheap veteran option. Even if we don’t, I’m perfectly okay with Chris Hairston being the backup.
