Handsome looking dude with an open traveling soul. Dereck Rodriguez d-rod feels the flower shirt. Hope you find your own soulmate one day out there and hope you find your walk in peace with the Lord carrying you to eternity when your time comes dear soul…Cheers. I recall the time, when I was a kid, that I picked up an injured baby bird, took it home and raised it. It turned out to be, at maturity, a California Vulture and it ate our dog! Mom was REALLY pissed off and told me, in no uncertain terms, NOT to bring home any more strays and I never did. . . . . .except for the coyote. Well, Dad TOLD me when I brought it home; “Kid, that’s a scruffy-looking dog. Where’d yuh get it?” I said; “It was howling at the moon out by the toilet with a bunch of other dogs and chewing on Moms cat, so I figured it must be hungry and I brung it home”.
He said; “Well, don’t tell Mom about the damned cat and give it some of her sauerkraut.” So I gave it a bath in the kitchen sink, howling and squirming. Boy! It sure put up a fight! So, after I hosed it down, I gave it a bowl of Moms sauerkraut and the damned thing fell over and died! Dad, who probably knew it would, just laughed and said; “THAT’LL do it. . . .every time!”. This is so awesome! We found “Chicken” at an RV Park in Florida, we didn’t know what it was at first and We went on YouTube to see how to feed baby birds… its been 2 years now and she has traveled with us across the country to California. We love our “Chicken”. She sleeps on my wife’s head at night.

Brianne Magyar, my pigeon was a 2-year-old boy and only tame towards me. Dereck Rodriguez d-rod feels the flower shirt. I suspect a Hawk or a cat caught him. Coz he was very ‘streetwise’ and just disappeared without a single trace. He is gone 6 months now and watching this story, I started crying… I still hope and pray he just comes back one day…Juanita Lasagna Personally, I think he went off to find a girl bird to make babies with. I grew up in San Francisco, and never have I seen a cat catch a pigeon. A hawk?? Why would a hawk bother with a tame bird? Check the flight lines up the coast to, say, Georgia, across to Natchez Trace, and then down by the Delta. He’ll come back to see you if weather permits and his job allows him to travel.
Keep the faith; joy turned to sadness is only wistful poison! Smile and keep putting out his food every now and then, play the music he likes, and so on. Hawks will go after whatever they can. They hunt, but they don’t distinguish between taking and wild animals and They just see prey. They will pluck pet snakes from your yard too if you let them roam in the open grass. Will literally swipe it right from in front of you. They are just doing what they are built to do, but it’s sad when something you love is a victim of it. Victim for sure. I have seen people buy small birds to let free in hopes of good karma but the moment they flew out, they were immediately preyed upon by crows. I told the person but I got told off instead.
