Thank you for this. It’s so weird seeing people side with Cobra Kai Strike First Strike Hard No Mercy shirt when even Johnny was like “Dude, chill…” in the end. People justifying Hawk attack Robby even though it got him disqualified. Cobra Kai needs balance. They might have won the match but they are still losers. All they know is to tackle their problems with aggression and that’s not going to work in every situation. How they all acted during the tournament was shameful. They had the skill to win without resorting to vile tactics but Johnny taught them to be aggressive and nothing else.

I agree but I don’t think he will call it Cobra Kai Strike First Strike Hard No Mercy shirt. I think Johnny will start leaning a little toward what Daniel teaches and that will cause his students to rebel. Kreese will reinforce their bad behavior and will usurp Johnny’s role as sensei. So Johnny will have to begrudgingly turn to Daniel for help. But can you walk out into the ring and smash people like Tyson did without being at least a little bit unhinged? We can talk about hypothetical bad asses all day but I have to think there’s something to be said for the amount of professional fighters that get into bar brawls, beat their wives, work as mob enforcers, etc. That isn’t to say that only professional fighters can be bad asses

I’d posit that it’s difficult to regularly put oneself into the Cobra Kai Strike First Strike Hard No Mercy shirt mindset required to be truly successful in fighting without it seeping into every day life to some extent. I was so excited watching Cobra Kai that I enjoyed posting on the subreddit. It’s not that I’m looking for a safespace or any of that stupid bullshit. But there seems to be a lot of bullheaded and immature fans of this show, who are completely missing the point of it, and attempts to have a thoughtful conversation about the show, is usually derailed by people memeing, or seriously thinking Cobra Kai is a way of life and violence is the answer. At the same time, he taught a bunch of bullied kids to stand up for themselves.
