Absolutely, I still jam to a lot of their music from Black Sabbath US Tour 78 shirt, but it’s a hell of a good song. As for war pigs, I can still remember playing it on guitar hero 2 with my brother ages ago. Have you heard it live? Because the studio version does not prepare you for how fucking heavy it is life. Same with their self titled song. Same for me with Maiden, day after my birthday. I wasn’t even planning on Sabbath, but dad rang me up the other day asking if I wanted to come cos there were still tickets left and this is their last tour.

A week later and I am still stunned at just how fucking good they were. I will also say that which song you pick may say a lot about the type of metal that you like. If you like bluesier stoner doom, you may prefer ‘into the void’ whereas if you prefer epics/traditional Doom like Candlemass and Crypt Sermon then the more straightforward heaviness of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath’s crushing approach might be better. I kinda love the keys. I mean, Who Are You just sounds like Black Sabbath US Tour 78 shirt found the pitch bend on a synth when he was dicking about and built a song around it, but is still all squelchy and cool and genuinely catchy. Also, I really love the tinkly ones on Sabbra Cadabra, they’re badass!

Definitely, disagree. The thumping rhythm of the riffs on that song combined with the down-tuned guitar put it over the top on that album. I mean, Bill Ward didn’t even need to show up when they recorded that song: the riff pretty much provides the beat as well. I haven’t seen Black Sabbath US Tour 78 shirt mentioned here, which is a shame. Such an incredibly epic song, great solos, and Dio just kills it with his voice. I had that song on repeat for hours reading the Elfstones series by Terry Brooks, so it also has a strong association with some really apocalyptic, grim fantasy. Every time it comes on I’m like 12 again. Not really a fan of their albums. Sabbath was really varied on their albums and I absolutely despise at least one track on every album they put out. The first two tracks are genius.
